The Ogun State Police have found a suspected stolen vehicle that was abandoned in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The silver Toyota RAV4 was found on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Somorin area of Obantoko, Abeokuta. This was announced by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, in a Facebook post.
Babaseyi said the vehicle has been taken to a police station for safekeeping. The police are asking the public to help identify and locate the owner.
He said anyone with useful information about the vehicle or its owner should contact the Ogun State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer on 08162382281.
The police also said they are investigating how the vehicle was abandoned and whether it was stolen.
