Ogun State APC Chairman, Yemi Sanusi, says the party’s new e-registration drive will serve as the foundation for its future electoral victories.
Sanusi made the remark in a personally signed statement released on Saturday during the launch of a training programme for local government supervisors and other officials in Abeokuta. The e-registration exercise is expected to begin before the end of the year.
He explained that the initiative is part of the APC’s broader plan to transform itself into a modern, digitally driven, and people-focused political organization. The training, he said, marks the start of a major effort to build a reliable, verifiable digital database of all party members in the state.

Sanusi urged those involved — from senatorial administrators to local government supervisors — to work with diligence, noting that the process will be closely monitored.
“Your performance in this exercise is of utmost importance and will be under the direct supervision of the President, our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and myself,” he said.
He assured participants that exceptional work would be recognised and rewarded.
The session was led by Olusegun Bankole, the Ogun Central Senatorial District Administrator, who walked participants through the technical and operational aspects of the digital platform.
The Organising Secretary, Yemi Adelani, encouraged supervisors to brace for the task ahead and to work with ward agents to ensure all members are reached and registered. He said each local government area would be given specific targets.
In his closing remarks, the party’s Secretary, Aderibigbe Tella, reminded participants to strictly follow all guidelines to ensure accuracy and a smooth exercise.
The party urged members and the public to await further updates and participate fully once registration begins.
The APC’s National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, recently reiterated the party’s commitment to implementing its nationwide e-registration programme launched last year.
