TikTok star DJ Chicken was attacked by an angry mob in Sagamu on Saturday after his car reportedly hit a motorcycle, injuring a man and a woman.
The crash occurred shortly after noon on a narrow street in the town. Witnesses said DJ Chicken was speeding when he collided with the motorcycle, throwing the rider and his passenger onto the pavement. His car suffered major damage to the front.
Within minutes, residents and fellow motorcyclists gathered at the scene. Video clips shared online show the entertainer, dressed only in a white singlet and underwear, being dragged from his car, slapped several times, and made to sit on the ground as people accused him of reckless driving.
Visibly shaken and bleeding, DJ Chicken pleaded for calm before some bystanders stepped in to stop the assault. He was later allowed to leave, though his exact condition remains unclear.
