Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose met privately with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo at the latter’s residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Sunday.
Fayose was received at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library by aides before proceeding to Obasanjo’s private home for a closed-door discussion that lasted over an hour.
Details of the meeting remain undisclosed, but sources described it as a personal visit.
The encounter has fueled political speculation amid ongoing reconciliation efforts within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of future elections.
