The Ogun State Ministry of Justice has said it will quickly take legal action against TikTok creator Ademola Abiodun, also known as DJ Chicken, because of recent road accidents linked to him that have caused concern among the public.
The case is connected to an accident that happened on November 1, 2025, in Sagamu, Ogun State, where DJ Chicken reportedly hit two motorcycles, seriously injuring the rider and a female passenger.
The government shared this information in a statement posted on its official X account on Monday.
According to eyewitnesses, DJ Chicken tried to run away after the accident, but people around stopped him.
Part of the statement said:
“Some drivers who cause crashes may settle with victims privately, but some are too dangerous to other road users and must face criminal charges. Mr. Abiodun falls into this category.”
The government also said that at least two of his recent accidents were recorded on video, making the situation clear and undeniable.
The statement added:
“Just three weeks after the first accident, Mr. Abiodun was involved in another crash, showing no sign of being more careful. Because of this, the state must step in to protect the public — especially since many people are demanding action.”
The second accident happened on November 23, 2025, in Lekki, Lagos State, where he almost hit pedestrians. The government said only luck and quick reactions prevented injuries.
To ensure justice, the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwasina Ogungbade (SAN), has ordered officials to speed up the court process.
The statement said:
“The Attorney-General has instructed officers to fast-track the Sagamu case so that DJ Chicken can be charged in court quickly.”
The ministry added that it is working closely with the police to protect road users and ensure accountability.
