The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, has called on newly promoted officers in the command to perform their duties with integrity, fairness, and professionalism.
Ogunlowo gave the charge on Wednesday during a decoration ceremony held at the Police Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.
According to a statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, the Commissioner reminded the officers to remain committed to their responsibilities and uphold the highest ethical standards in their new roles.
Those promoted to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) are Stephen Dapo Ojekunle, Emmanuel T. Falade, Tinuola Juliet Balogun, Gbadamosi Kazeem Babatunde, and Temitope Fapounda.
Ajayi Moses and Okhuegbe Philip were promoted to Superintendent of Police (SP), while Oyebola Oluwatoyin, Alice Adebo, and Ajayi Abimbola who serves as Secretary to the Commissioner were elevated to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

Congratulating the officers, Ogunlowo noted that their promotions were approved by the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, in recognition of their dedication, diligence, and selfless service. He added that the elevation should inspire others to remain disciplined and committed to professional excellence.
“I urge you to see your new ranks as a call to higher responsibility,” he said. “You must justify the trust placed in you by demonstrating excellence, integrity, and fairness in your duties to make Ogun State and Nigeria safer for all.”
