Thirty Players Resume Intensive Camping for Africa Men Handball Championship.
Nigeria Senior Men National Handball Team’s Technical Adviser , Coach Rafiu Salami has invited KS Vive Kielce player Faruk Yusuf, Israel based Obinna Annih and twenty eight other players for intensive camping ahead of the 2022 African Men’s Handball Championship holding in Morocco.
The 30 players came into Abuja for training on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, after the executive board of the Handball Federation of Nigeria confirmed the roster for the 25th edition of the Nation’s Cup.
Several players from the recently concluded Handball Premier League were invited to camp after Coach Rafiu observed them in the league.
Nigeria has participated in eleven editions of the Africa Men Handball Nations league with their best outing recorded in the 1998 edition held in South Africa where the country finished 4th
