Tragedy Strikes at Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries as Worshiper Collapses and Dies During Prayer Session
A heartbreaking incident occurred during a prayer session at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries in the Ibafo area of Ogun State, as a female worshipper, identified as Bisi Adewumi, reportedly collapsed and later lost her life while receiving medical attention.

The 75-year-old woman’s unfortunate incident was reported by the Ogun State Police Command, which disclosed that the incident was reported to its Ibafo division by the Head of Security, Pastor Ekikere Esiere, who is attached to the church’s prayer city, situated along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to the police report, the tragic event took place at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Thursday during a prayer session. Upon collapsing, the deceased was immediately rushed to the church’s clinic for medical assistance. However, her condition necessitated further medical care, and she was subsequently referred to the Sagamu General Hospital for additional treatment.

Despite efforts to save her life, Bisi Adewumi was pronounced dead while still receiving treatment at the hospital on Friday. The news of her passing has left the church and the community in mourning.
In the aftermath of this heartbreaking incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Omolola Odutola, confirmed that the deceased’s remains have been deposited at the hospital morgue. As of now, no relatives have come forward to claim the body, and further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the uncertainties of life and the need for safety measures and immediate medical attention during gatherings and events, especially in places of worship. The church and the local community extend their condolences to the family of Bisi Adewumi during this difficult time.
