Obaigbena Says Nigeria Can Only Progress When Built On Justice

Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of THISDAY-ARISE Media Group, Nduka Obaigbena, has said that Nigeria can only thrive when built on justice, fairness, and shared prosperity.

Obaigbena made the remark on Monday during an ARISE Television event that hosted the Arewa Consultative Forum. He stressed the importance of building a balanced and inclusive society where all citizens have equal opportunities.

“Nigeria works for all of us, and it can work even better,” he said. “What we need is a fair and equitable Nigeria, founded on justice and prosperity. And we will continue to fight for justice.”

The media executive also commended ongoing economic reforms, noting that they were steps in the right direction toward improving livelihoods and reducing poverty.

“We will support sensible reforms, which are already taking place,” Obaigbena added. “The key is to lift more people out of poverty, and that is the direction Nigeria must continue to pursue.”
