The Ogun State government has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew on Sagamu, following recent clashes between rival cult groups that have resulted in at least 20 deaths. The curfew restricts human and vehicular movement from 7 pm to 6 am.
The government has assured residents of Sagamu of their safety and property and has called on them to abide by the curfew until security in the area improves. The police and other security agencies are working to restore normalcy in the town.
