Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has commended the well-deserved victory of Senator Olamilekan Adeola, who represents Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, as upheld by the National and State Assemblies Elections Petition Tribunal.
The tribunal, convening in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, affirmed Senator Adeola’s win in the National Assembly election held on February 25. The tribunal’s ruling dismissed the challenge brought by the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Chief Dada Adeleke, citing a lack of merit in his petition.
