In Ogun State, eight suspects—among them a couple—are now detailing to the police how they lured, killed, slaughtered, and sold a female friend’s body for her organs and parts.

After killing her, they chopped off her head, legs, and two hands, which they then sold to willing bidders, they said to the police.

“We sold the legs for N30,000, while the heart was sold for N50,000 to Akeem Bello,” they told the Police.

They also drained her blood into a container.

However, the person that bought the head is still at large.

The suspects

Oyindamola Adeyemi, a 26-year-old mother of two, was abducted, killed, and dismembered by Taiwo Olutufese Ajalorun and Salawa Oyenusi Ajalorun.

Lukman Oladele, Kayode Ibrahim, Bello Akeem, Alebiosu Adebayo, Fatai Rasheed, and Fatai Jimoh are the other suspects.

Ojo Omolara, the deceased Adeyemi’s neighbour, reportedly filed a report at the Obalende Divisional headquarters in Ijebu-Ode on Wednesday, according to Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesman for the Ogun State Police Command.

She informed the police that her neighbour Adeyemi had been gone from her house since the morning of December 28, 2022.

She added that Oyindamola did not return home and her phone had since been switched off.

They drained her blood

She was told to return later because it had not yet been 24 hours, the police official added.

“However, on December 29, 2022, while an Obalende Division team was out on normal patrol, a woman’s dismembered body was found by the side of the road and transferred to a mortuary.

“Fortunately, the mortuary is a short distance from the deceased’s home, and one of the mortuary staff members called the deceased’s relatives to ask them to come see the body that the police had delivered.

When Omolara arrived, she was able to recognise the body by the bra and underpants because her head had already been severed.

The DPO Obalende Division, SP Murphy Salami, mobilised his top detectives after the body was identified, and they launched a technological and intelligence-based inquiry that brought them to Taiwo Olutufese Ajalorun, a herbalist from whom they obtained the deceased’s phone.

“He was instantly detained, and a search warrant was dutifully carried out at his residence, yielding the discovery of a jar full of human blood that was later determined to be the deceased’s.

“His arrest resulted in the capture of his friend Lukman Oladele, whose home the deceased’s legs were also found in.

“They both confessed, which resulted in the detention of additional suspects who are purchasers of various parts.

How they killed her

“On interrogation, Taiwo Olutufese Ajalorun and Lukman Oladele confessed that the deceased was lured to the house of Taiwo, who happened to be her man friend.

“As soon as the victim entered, Taiwo Olutufese and Lukman Oladele pushed her down and then strangled her.

“After killing her, they severed her skull, legs, and two hands, which they then sold to customers to be used in rituals for profit.

“According to them, the deceased’s legs were sold for N30,000, the heart to Akeem Bello for N50,000, and the buyer of the deceased’s head is still at large.

The suspects further admitted that the deceased was the third person they had slain in such a horrific way.
