Amarachi Amadi, the representative for Ikeduru/ Mbaitoli Federal Constituency in Imo State’s House of Representatives, has called on the people of the state to re-elect Governor Hope Uzodimma in the upcoming governorship election on November 11. During a stakeholders’ meeting he organized to report on his performance in office over the past four months and fulfill his election promises, the 30-year-old lawmaker emphasized that re-electing Uzodimma as the state’s governor is the most favorable choice for the state.
Amadi praised the governor for his accomplishments in various areas, including infrastructure development, job creation, timely payment of salaries and pensions, and improvements in education, healthcare, and agriculture, among others. He firmly asserted that among all the gubernatorial candidates, Uzodimma possesses the experience and capacity needed to lead the state towards progress.

The legislator also commended Governor Uzodimma for his efforts in addressing security challenges and promoting democracy within the state. To show his support for Uzodimma’s re-election campaign, Amadi generously donated 14 branded Sienna vehicles to coordinators across his federal constituency, underscoring the significance of Uzodimma’s re-election as a paramount project.
Amadi further declared that the electoral ward in his federal constituency that delivers the highest number of votes for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the November 11 governorship election would be eligible for a Zonal Intervention Project valued at over N100 million, as specified in the federal budget. He concluded his message by urging the electorate to vote for Governor Uzodimma in the upcoming election, highlighting the governor’s positive track record in job creation, infrastructure development, security, and the enhancement of key sectors like education, agriculture, health, and tourism.
In addition to his show of support for the governor’s re-election, the lawmaker also rewarded the electoral wards and voting units that had provided him with the highest number of votes during his own election last February and March. He presented brand-new motorcycles to each of the wards in his federal constituency that had demonstrated strong support during the National Assembly election.
Amadi also extended his generosity by awarding two Sienna vehicles to each of the wards in the local governments that garnered the highest number of votes. The deputy governorship candidate for Uzodimma, Mrs. Chinyere Ekomaru, expressed her astonishment at a lawmaker fulfilling promises within such a short period in office and encouraged the people of the federal constituency to turn out in large numbers to vote for the APC in the upcoming November 11 election. She emphasized that Governor Uzodimma had much more to accomplish during his second term.
