Nigerian Actress and film producer, Toyin Abraham, is set to make her cinema comeback with highly anticipated film ‘BESTIE’, slated for nationwide release on 16 December 2026.
The new project is expected to build on Abraham’s impressive run as she cements her position as one of the leading filmmakers and box-office draws in the Nigerian film industry.
Her return to cinemas comes after the strong performance of her previous release, ‘Oversabi Aunty’, which grossed over N1 billion at the Nigerian box office and earned her recognition from the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).

Earlier, Abraham had hinted at another cinema release for December, after announcing that ‘Alábọ̀sí 2’ would be her final YouTube film for 2026.
She teased fans with the promise of “another beautiful chapter” and even bigger stories to come.
December remains one of the busiest periods for Nigerian cinemas, with filmmakers traditionally using the season to launch major productions and attract audiences looking for entertainment during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
