Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State swore in 20 commissioners and 22 special advisers into his cabinet on Friday. The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Obas Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, following the approval of the Ogun State House of Assembly.

During the ceremony, the governor did not announce the specific portfolios of each appointee and mentioned the possibility of creating new ministries to accommodate more individuals in his cabinet.
After the appointees took the oath of office, the governor emphasized the challenges they would face and the importance of viewing their appointments as a unique privilege and a call to service. Abiodun encouraged the new cabinet members to be professional, prudent, and attentive to their responsibilities.
He also urged them to work collaboratively as a team to achieve the administration’s set goals, emphasizing the importance of rendering selfless service and dedication.
