On the 16th of October 2023, a pastor from the Christ Liberty Evangelism Church in Rosco, Iyana Iyesi, Ota, named Oyenekan Oluwaseyi, along with three other individuals, were apprehended in possession of a human skull in the Saje Area of Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, Nigeria.
According to PUNCH Metro, Oluwaseyi and the three others, identified as 30-year-old Ibrahim Agbowewe, 40-year-old Suleiman Ogunbunmi, and 57-year-old Gafari Akinsanya, were arrested by the Ogun State Police Command in the early hours of Saturday. The suspects purportedly admitted that they intended to use the human skull for rituals.
The arrests came following a tip-off from concerned members of the public who had observed the suspicious activities and movements of the suspects in the area.
The source within the police command stated that the investigation is ongoing to uncover more details about the incident, as they are working to unravel the circumstances surrounding the possession of the human skull.
