In Sagamu Local Government, Ogun State, a commercial motorcyclist collaborated with other men to gang-rape an 18-year-old female passenger.
The incident occurred on Tuesday in Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area, Ogun, according to reports.
Emmanuel Thompson and Joshua Godwin, two of those who had forceful intercourse with the teenager, were arrested, according to police.

Abimbola Oyeyemi, spokesperson for the Ogun State Police, confirmed that the victim reported the incident to the Ogijo police division, which resulted in the arrest of the suspects.
The victim (name withheld) told police that she boarded a commercial motorcycle at around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday from the MRI company area to the Ogijo bus stop; “but on the way going, the rider who was carrying another male passenger with her suddenly diverted to another route, while the other male passenger began threatening to kill her if she did not cooperate with them.”
According to Oyeyemi, the teenager reported that “they took her to a room in one house in the area, where two other men were waiting for them.”
“When they arrived, the two men they met in the room and the accompanied male passenger took turns having forceful sex with her.”

Acting on the report, CSP Onatufe Umoh, DPO of Ogijo division, was said to have dispatched his detectives to the scene, where two of the suspects were apprehended while other accomplices escaped.
“The two arrested suspects have admitted to committing the crime.”
Meanwhile, Lanre Bankole, the Commissioner of Police in Ogun, has directed that the suspects be transferred to the State CIID for further investigation and diligent prosecution.
Bankole also ordered that the gang’s fleeing members be tracked down and brought to justice.
