Ogun state government has condoled with the family of former General Manager, (GM) Ogun state, Agric- Corporation , Alhaji Modiu Rabiu who died on Sunday at his residence.
Leading government’s delegation to the family house of the deceased ,who until his death was the Chief Imam of Odosenlu Central mosque, in ljebu North East local government , the state Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele in company of her husband, Alhaji Bode Oyedele said the news of his death came as a rude shock.She described late Rabiu as a God fearing man and a supportive husband, going by the contribution of his wife to the development of the Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria, FOMWAN.Also speaking, the Chief of staff to Governor Abiodun, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Salis, who admonished the family to remain united, said it is more important to fear and render services to God than to be religious.
Alhaji Modiu Rabiu who died this Sunday at the age of 84, was the husband of the FOMWAN state President, Alhaja Kudirat Rabiu. Appreciating the state government delegation, son of the deceased, Mr Rasak Rabiu said the entire family is grateful for the visit and identifying with the family.
