Members of the Ogun State Community, Social Orientation, and Safety Corps, known as So-Safe Corps, apprehended Kabiru Adedotun, also known as K.B, an alleged notorious member of the Eye Confraternity, accused of causing terror in Ogun communities. A cut-to-size pistol was seized from him during the operation. The State Commander of the Corps, Commander Soji Ganzallo, conveyed this information in a statement issued on Sunday through the Corps’ Director of Information and Public Relations, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf.

The statement revealed that the tactical squad, while on routine patrol, received information about the suspected cultist, prompting them to pursue and subsequently arrest Kabiru Adedotun. The arrest took place in his room at Totoro, Abeokuta, in the Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun, where the cut-to-size pistol was recovered. The suspect allegedly admitted to participating in various criminal activities in the state.
Ganzallo mentioned that, during the initial investigation, the apprehended cultist provided names of individuals associated with his gang. The suspect, along with the confiscated weapon, has been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force, Monitoring Unit, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, for further processing and likely prosecution at the State Police Headquarters, Eleweran.
