The Ogun State environmental sanitation for the month of November will hold on Saturday, November 28, 2020, starting from 7.00 am to 10.00 am. This is according to a release signed by the Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Abiodun Abudu-Balogun
According to the release, there would be no restriction of movement across the 20 Local Government Areas of the state, due to improved compliance with the State environmental laws and regulations by residents in previous months
Abudu-Balogun said residents are enjoined to keep the flag-flying by using the period of the exercise to consolidate on their clean environment, by further clearing their drainage channels and ensuring that the cleanliness of their premises or surrounding is sustained
The commissioner further stated that the Ogun State Ministry of Environment Monitoring teams would go round the State to ensure maximum compliance.
