The Governor, who was represented by his Deputy Chief Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga congratulated the Royal Majesty on his 25th coronation anniversary saying that, his reign has been marked with remarkable peace not only in Remoland but throughout the annals of Ogun state.
The coronation anniversary ceremony was kick-started with an inter-denominational Christian thanksgiving service conducted by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) at the Remo Traditional Council Hall Palace ground with many Clerics in attendance.
In his sermon at the service, the Bishop of Methodist Diocese of Remo Central; Rt. Rev. Gboyega Ohu described the event as a celebration of divine favour upon the Paramount Ruler, Oba Michael Adeniyi Sonariwo and the entire people of Remo land. He went further to urged the monarch to prioritize God in all his dealings.
The Cleric recalled that Remoland, so far has recorded success since Oba Sonariwo assumed the throne of his forefathers in July 1990 as manifested in the number of Industrial and Commercial Organizations that has sprang up in the land.
The event was graced by the Paramount Rulers of Egba and Yewa Land, Royal fathers, and Captain of industries.
