The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Kunle Oluomo, has been impeached. Oluomo faced allegations ranging from financial fraud to a leadership tussle within the state assembly, and these issues may have contributed to his impeachment.
In his stead, Hon. Oludaisi Elemide has been appointed as the new Speaker.
