On Sunday, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of Ogun State, Niyi Ijalaye, announced that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has received results from 10 out of the 20 local government areas of the state.
Mr Ijalaye disclosed this while opening the INEC collation centre in Abeokuta and also revealed that the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Kayode Adebowale, has been appointed as the collation officer for the state.
The local government areas whose results have arrived at the state collation centre include Remo North, Ikenne, Egbado South, Ewekoro, Abeokuta North, Ijebu North, Ijebu North East, Imeko Afon, Odeda, and Egbado North.
At the time of filing this report, the local government collation officers were present and seated in the collation centre.
