Segun Adekoya, observed that Ogun was the only State In the South west that did not experience violence and huge destruction of both public and private properties.
“We members of the State caucus at the House of Representatives are impressed with the way our Governor handled the EndSARS protest in the State. Despite our closeness to Lagos, which was the epicenter of the protest and destruction, the State did not witness violence and of course this can only be attributed to how the man in charge of the State managed it”, he noted.
He said, as representatives of the people, they would always work for the progress of the State irrespective of their political differences, assuring the Governor of their support and cooperation.
Hon. Adekoya who applauded the State government for its economic blueprint and developmental strides within the last one and a half years, opined that the State has made headway in agricultural development, education, health, youth empowerment and housing sectors, calling on the governor not to relent.
He solicited for people’s support to the governor, to further deliver on his campaign promises, saying the task of governance was not solely the responsibility of government alone, but active participation of the citizenry.
