Gov Abiodun Swears In New Deputy Chief Of Staff, Seven New Commissioners

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has sworn in seven new Commissioners to his cabinet.

Oludotun Taiwo (Forestry), Ganiyu Hamzat (Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs), Olufemi Ilori Oduntan (Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs), Abayomi Hunye (Community Development and Cooperatives), Motunrayo Adeleye -Oladapo (Culture and Tourism), Oladimeji Oresanya (Environment), Jami (Rural Development).

Dr Oluwatoyin Taiwo, the former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, was also sworn in as Abiodun’s new Deputy Chief of Staff.

Abiodun charged the new appointees at the Governor’s Office in Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, to always be aware that the responsibility of taking the state to unprecedented heights now rests on their shoulders.

He admonished them to be accountable to the people and to remain connected to them as worthy ambassadors of the current administration’s inclusiveness policy.

The governor asked the new appointees to effectively integrate their visions into the current administration’s governance approaches and to focus on the pillars of ISEYA, adding that their various actions should help the state blossom.
