The Ogun State Sector command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reported the arrest of a Toyota Camry car that was found moving with only three tires along the Abeokuta – Sagamu Expressway. The incident occurred on Monday, September 4, 2023.
Chief Route Commander Florence Okpe, on behalf of the State Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, issued a statement disclosing the details of the arrest. The vehicle in question, a Toyota Camry with registration number FFF 522 TK, was apprehended by a patrol team from the FRSC Ogun Sector Command in Abeokuta while carrying out their official duties. The driver, identified as Mr. Adeyinka, has been charged to court in connection with the incident.

The statement emphasized that the arrest was part of the FRSC’s efforts to enforce safety measures and clamp down on rickety vehicles. This clampdown was initiated in response to a recent viral video showing a car with only three tires traveling along the same Abeokuta – Sagamu Expressway.
The Sector Commander of the FRSC Ogun Sector Command, Anthony Uga, urged motorists to comply with traffic rules and regulations while avoiding any actions that could compromise their safety and that of other road users.
