The Ogun chapter of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners, Riders, and Repairers Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) has offered congratulations to Prince Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on his recent gubernatorial election triumph in the state.
Mr. Kayode Sowunmi, the State Chairman of ACOMORAN, praised Abiodun’s persistent determination and endurance during his party’s primaries, election campaigns, and eventual election. The group also expressed appreciation to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for upholding the people’s choice in the election.
ACOMORAN also attributed the governor’s victory at the poll to his infrastructural development initiatives during his first term in office. As a result, the group urged political leaders in the state to refrain from making incendiary remarks as they await the judiciary’s resolution of their grievances.
“We wish to laud the role and sacrifices of our members and APC members towards the actualization of this dream.
“We commend the effort of our party leaders, Aremo Olusegun Osoba and Senator Olamilekan Yayi for their support and mobilization across the state.”
The ACOMORAN Chairman additionally appealed to the governor to ensure that the Agro Cargo airport project is completed to enhance the transportation system in the state.
