Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State officially inducted “20 commissioners” and “22 special advisers” into his administration on Friday. This ceremony took place at the Obas Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, following approval from the Ogun State House of Assembly.
Notably, Governor Abiodun did not reveal the specific roles or portfolios assigned to each appointee during the swearing-in event. However, he hinted at the possibility of establishing “new ministries” to accommodate more individuals within his cabinet.

In his address following the administration of the oath of office, the governor encouraged the newly appointed officials to prepare for the challenges ahead. He emphasized that their appointments should be viewed as a “unique privilege” and a “call to service.”
Governor Abiodun further urged the cabinet members to maintain professionalism and fiscal responsibility in their roles, emphasizing the importance of diligently carrying out their duties. He stressed the significance of “working together as a team” to achieve the goals set forth by his administration.

He advised them to always bear in mind that their appointments were chances to showcase their abilities and commitment to public service.
