Globacom has officially entered into a multi-million Naira deal with renowned Afrobeats artists, namely Asake, Kizz Daniel, and Chike. This momentous agreement was sealed on Friday, September 29, when the three artists, Ahmed Ololade (Asake), Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe Daniel (Kizz Daniel), and Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, signed contracts at the Michael Adenuga Towers on Victoria Island, Lagos.
While the exact figures of the deals were not disclosed by the artists, sources close to the matter revealed that the contracts are valued at hundreds of millions of Naira.
Asake, who holds a degree in Theatre Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile Ife, Osun State; Kizz Daniel, a graduate in Water Engineering from the Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta, Ogun State; and Chike, a Computer Engineering graduate of Covenant University in Ota, Ogun State, were officially welcomed into the Glo family amidst celebration and excitement.
This strategic move by Globacom coincides with the celebration of the company’s 20th anniversary, and it represents a deliberate effort to inspire and empower the youth. The telecom giant stated, “To project the power of youth and enterprise and how much they can achieve with the right focus, passion, and dedication that can come from seeing others who have succeeded.
