Your disciplined, dependable, consistent, cerebral, urbane, and quintessential leadership qualities have greatly benefited Egbaland and our entire state. I want to express my gratitude for your unwavering support since the beginning of my administration. You have been a strong advocate of our ‘Build Our Future Together’ agenda, and for that, we are deeply thankful.”
Governor Abiodun also commended Oba Gbadebo’s exceptional conflict resolution skills, which have brought peace, unity, and stability to the state, attributing this ability to the monarch’s military background. He concluded his message by wishing the Alake many more healthy, prosperous, and fruitful years ahead and extended birthday greetings, saying, “Happy birthday, Kabiyesi, as you join the club of octogenarians.”
“Ki ade pe lori, ki bata pe lese. Irukere a po laafin.” (May your crown continue to shine brightly, and may your staff of authority remain unbroken. The royal court prospers.)
