Adeyera Sunday Adeleke is a respected Nigerian music educator, composer, and performer whose life has been devoted to teaching and transforming society through music. He is a retired academic musician who now thrives in popular music, digital production, and community-based music education for children and adults.
For over three decades, Mr. Adeleke taught music at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels. He served as a lecturer in a Nigerian College of Education, where he trained teachers who now serve across the nation. His work covered general music education, African music, performance, and special education, including music for learners with hearing, visual, and learning challenges.
Academically, he holds a B.A. (Education) in Music and an M.A. in African Music. His academic and creative works include African traditional music, Yoruba folk music, dundun (talking drum) studies, hymns, gospel music, and educational compositions designed for classroom teaching.
After retirement, Adeyera Sunday Adeleke redirected his energy into popular music and applied music education. He now teaches children and adults using music as a tool for citizenship education, counselling, moral instruction, therapy, and life-skills development. His guiding principle is simple and effective: teaching music through music.
He is a specialist in children’s music education and children’s gospel music, producing songs that promote learning, discipline, faith, and character formation. His works are carefully structured to fit school curricula, church programs, and home learning environments.

Mr. Adeleke is also an AI music specialist, audio and visual producer, artiste trainer, gospel musician, instrumentalist, solo keyboard performer, and inspirational podcaster. He uses modern technology to compose, record, and prepare music for both local and global audiences.
He is a committed advocate of good governance, peace, justice, and responsible citizenship, using music to address social issues in a simple, educative, and accessible manner.
Currently, he has produced over 400 audio works, covering educational, gospel, folk, therapeutic, and advocacy music, awaiting public release. These productions will soon reach the general public through audio and visual platforms.
Though advanced in age, Adeyera Sunday Adeleke proudly describes himself as “an old man with the spirit of Gen Z”—creative, innovative, and forward-looking—using music to serve humanity in every area of life.
