Actress Nkechi Blessing has raised concerns after her phone number was reportedly leaked online, leaving her overwhelmed by messages from men seeking a relationship.
In a video shared on Instagram, the actress explained that her Facebook account, which is linked to her phone number, has become a source of daily distress. According to her, she wakes up each day to thousands of messages from men of different ages and locations, many of whom introduce themselves, ask about her relationship status, and express interest in marrying her.
Nkechi said the situation has made her WhatsApp inbox unmanageable, with more than 5,000 unread messages accumulating. She expressed frustration over her inability to stop the influx, adding that repeated attempts to remove or change her phone number on Facebook have been unsuccessful.
Describing the experience as exhausting, the 36-year-old actress said she is overwhelmed by the constant calls and messages. While she confirmed that she is single and a mother, she made it clear that she is not looking for a relationship.
She appealed to the public for help on how to remove her phone number from Facebook and urged people to stop contacting her. She also noted that she is unaware of the particular video or post that may have triggered the surge in messages.
Nkechi Blessing previously disclosed in April 2022 that she had ended her 10-month relationship with politician Opeyemi Falegan.
