The much-talked-about Osun State governorship election may have come and gone, but Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, continues to command attention for the role he played in the reelection of his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke.
A recent video of Davido alongside the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has reignited conversations about the singer’s growing influence in Nigeria’s political space.
In the viral clip, Davido playfully boasted about the outcome of the election, telling Wike, “I won, I beat you guys,” while his uncle, Governor Adeleke, looks on.
