The Ogun State Medical Centre of Excellence a 250 bed hospital located in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta is scheduled for commissioning in December.
Governor Dapo Abiodun announced this during an inspection of the project, which was initiated by the previous administration but left unfinished. He explained that once completed, the hospital would be managed by the Abuja Medical Centre of Excellence, in partnership with King’s College Hospital in the United Kingdom.
Abiodun said the new facility would significantly reduce the need for medical tourism and provide healthcare services comparable to leading hospitals in the region.
