In what many people in the entertainment circle have dubbed as face-saving measure, Wizkid has blamed hackers for his tweet about single.
“My twitter account is still hacked! Y’all pay no mind! Thanks,” he said.
The controversial tweet fired rumour of a break up with his girlfriend of many years, Tania Omotayo.
His tweet goes thus, “25, single and enjoying life! Blessings.”
On Wednesday, his manager, Sunday Are of List entertainment had issued a statement that the pop star’s account was hacked into.
“The twitter account of Africa’s reigning artiste Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid has been taking over by Fraudsters Who are currently displacing fake numbers and claiming to be wizkid’s manager Sunday Are and taking money from individuals,” the statement said.
