An enraged wife has hacked off her husband’s penis after he allegedly said another woman’s name during sex.
The couple was making love at their home last week when the husband allegedly moaned another woman’s name.
His furious wife, 55, waited for him to fall asleep before allegedly grabbing a 10-inch-long knife from the kitchen and chopping off his penis.
The police shared images showing the cut-off tip and section of the shaft lying lifelessly on the mattress, stained with blood.
Neighbours rushed to the screaming man’s aid and took him to the hospital.
The sad incident occurred in Baguio City, Philippines.
Police officers arrested his wife, who did not try to escape.
A spokesman for the Baguio City Police said: ‘Allegedly, the reason was jealousy, because the wife claimed her husband was a womaniser.
Doctors try to re-attach
The officers have recovered the blood-stained knife and the cut-off penis from the scene.
Local media reported that doctors tried re-attaching the phallus but were unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, the police has detained the wife at the Baguio City Police Station on suspicions of mutilation.
Police also released a mugshot of the woman, who appears to be wearing pink Mickey Mouse pyjamas.
The furious wife told police: ‘My husband was saying his mistress’s name, not mine. I was influenced by alcohol, but I knew what I was doing.
‘He knows that he is also at fault. He shouldn’t try to deny it, he shouldn’t try to lie that hasn’t done anything wrong. It’s so obvious, because I see it.’
The wife added that she had been trying to sue the man for adultery, but lacked the evidence to do so.
Police said she will be charged for mutilation. In the Philippines, the offence carries a penalty of between 12 to 40 years in prison. MailOnline
