The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is set to make decisions today regarding cases of malpractice and irregularities arising from the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).
In August, under the leadership of the former WAEC boss, Mr. Patrick Areghan, the announcement of WASSCE results revealed that 262,803 results were withheld due to reported malpractice and irregularities out of a total of 1,613,733 candidates.
The recent update from WAEC’s official handle mentioned that the 76th Meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) would convene to consider and decide on the cases of malpractice and irregularities stemming from the 2023 WASSCE for School Candidates.
