The Department of State Services (DSS) called in the Chairman of Sagamu Local Government in Ogun State, Afolabi Odulate, and a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who represents Sagamu Constituency II in the state’s House of Assembly, Adeniran Ademola. They were asked to come in for questioning because of recent violence involving cults in Sagamu.
The DSS is trying to find out who is responsible for the cult conflicts. Last Wednesday, they arrested six suspects, including a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who represents Sagamu State Constituency I, Damilare Mohammed. It is said that Mohammed was taken into custody for allegedly providing a hiding place for cult members at his official residence in Abeokuta.
There might be more people called in for questioning as the investigation continues.
