During the grand finale of the Yewa Cultural Festival 2023, the Paramount Ruler of Yewaland bestowed the title “Aree Fiwagboye of Yewaland” upon the President of the Senate of Nigeria.
The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and politicians from across Nigeria, including the distinguished Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, and an unprecedented 65 Senators of the Federal Republic, including three former governors, Senator Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Senator Adams Oshiomohle of Edo State, and others, also graced the event of installing the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio Installed “Aree Fiwagboye of Yewaland“ with their presence.
This installation event and grand finale the Yewa Cultural Festival 2023 concluded with a flourish, leaving attendees in awe of the rich culture, tradition, and heritage of the Yewa people.
