Arc. Abiodun Fari-Arole, Special Adviser to the Governor of Ogun State and Managing Director of Ogun State Property Investment Corporation (OPIC), has stated that his organisation is self-sustaining and does not rely on government funds for development initiatives.
Fari-Arole told an OGIS journalist in Abeokuta that the Corporation derives its own revenue through the sale of residential and industrial estates established around the country.

He added that the different OPIC estates created throughout the State have enabled more economic growth, while also meeting other public necessities such as schools, hospitals, piped water, power, security stations, and well-laid drainage channels.
The Special Adviser, who stated that the Agency, in addition to creating estates, sells lands and provides consulting services to people, revealed that its investment push was primarily aimed at medium and high-income earners who could pay in full or in instalments.
Fari-Arole stated that some projects, such as the King Court Phase I, Oke-Mosan, had been completed and were pending Governor’s commissioning, but that the King Court Phase II, Oke-Mosan, and Warewa blocks of flats (BOFT Apartments) in Lagos were still ongoing.
