The Ogun State government, led by Prince Dapo Abiodun, has reaffirmed its commitment to the promotion and sustainability of cultural festivals in order to ensure their place of pride in international societies.
Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo, the State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, disclosed this in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, while answering questions from an OGIS journalist about the ongoing 2021 “Odun Omo Iganmode” festival in Ota, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the State.
Taiwo stated that the current administration is working hard to guarantee that cultural values are passed down to the next generation, and that his ministry has been actively participating in many cultural festivals across the state.
