According to the Ogun State Government, public schools in the state, including government science and technical colleges, will resume for the 2021/2022 Academic Session on Monday, January 10, 2022.
In a statement by the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Abayomi Arigbabu, the change became necessary following a series of pre-resumption activities lined up by the Ogun State Ministry of Education geared towards the repositioning of public schools in the state.
According to the resumption guidelines, each parent/guardian and student are expected to sign an undertaking of willingness to abide by the laid down regulations and also support the schools in ensuring and enforcing discipline.
The statement advises parents, guardians, and all school administrators to comply with the instruction and note the new resumption date as they await details of other pre-resumption activities.
