According to former Senior Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe, with the present crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State and the infighting among members of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the State, Accord Party is set to liberate Ogun people from the two major political parties.
The former Senior Special Assistant to former President Goodluck Jonathan who was once a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic party said joining the two dominating political parties at this period is like going to the graveyards to search for Jesus Christ who has resurrected thousands of years ago.
Okupe made this known at in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government Area of Ogun State, during the inauguration of the Ogun West Senatorial District of the Accord party.
Other notable leaders of the party also assured indigenes of Ogun West to work together for the progress of the state and assured them that the party will pick its gubernatorial candidate from the zone which has not produced a governor since creation of the state.
