There is more trouble for PDP.
The source of this more trouble for PDP is emanating from the ruling of a federal Court of Appeal sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, yesterday, Friday.
The appeal court has affirmed the former Governor of Borno State, Alimodu Sheriff, as the authentic Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The court set aside the earlier judgment delivered by Justice Mohammed Liman of the Federal High Court in Rivers State who recognized former governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi as the chairman.
The two former governors, Messrs Sheriff and Makarfi lead separate factions of the PDP.
PDP is the former ruling party of Nigeria. Now in opposition, the party has been facing serious leadership crisis since it lost power to the new ruling party, the All Progressive Congress (APC).
