Naira Marley faces more troubles as radio stations ban his songs over alleged involvements in Mobad’s death.
The owner of Marlian Records, Azeez Fashola, known as Naira Marley, faces more problems as some radio stations are banning his label’s songs. In Oyo state, Splash 105.5 FM and other private stations have made this clear.
A presenter at Splash 105.5 FM, Aderonke Adesola, shared on Twitter that the station has indefinitely banned Naira Marley’s songs due to sensitive issues related to Mohbad’s death and police investigations.

She said, “Naira Marley’s songs are not to be broadcast on our station until further notice.” Naira Marley denies involvement in Mohbad’s death and expressed his sadness in a recent statement.

Some private radio stations in Ekiti State have also banned songs from Marlian Records due to controversies surrounding MohBad’s death. Fresh FM, Voice FM, and NewCruse FM have all taken this action.
Fresh FM stated, “We have suspended the airplay of all songs and contents under the banner of Marlian Records.” Voice FM and NewCruse FM have also stopped playing Marlian artists’ songs until further notice.
