The Arewa community, however challenged Isiaka to live up to his promises if elected into office.

Responding, Isiaka promised to attend to their requests and reiterated his desire to make life more abundant for everyone residing in the state irrespective of their ethnicity and tribe.

Addressing 48 traditional rulers from Ogun West Senatorial District in Ilaro, Ogun State that gathered to bless him, Isiaka said the time has come for the Yewa/Awori people to produce the governor of the state. He noted that since the creation of the state in 1976, nobody from Ogun West had the opportunity to govern the state.
He said he was being motivated to be in the race to make the difference in the lives of Ogun people and give everybody a sense of belonging.

Isiaka who took a swipe at the administration of Senator Ibikunle Amosun asked what was the offence of Ogun West people to deserve the level of neglect in the last three and half years.
He noted, “As we were coming here (Ilaro) today our people were baffled with the neglect of infrastructure here, the roads leading to Ilaro, the capital of Ogun West is in terrible shape, in fact there is no single road that is good in the whole of Ogun West despite the fact that they are putting bridges even where they are not necessary. We don’t know our offence as a people but the end has come to it because we are prepared to give all it takes to get what it is ours”.
