Suspected kidnappers have abducted four travelers in Olubo Village, along the Abeokuta-Imala-Ayetoro Road in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The people in question, three traders and a driver were kidnapped on Tuesday night while getting back from Ilara market in Imeko-Afon Local Government Area of the state.
Olubo town is a similar spot where a clinical specialist and a nurse going from Imeko town, were likewise abducted a month prior.

They were subsequently released after an undisclosed amount of cash was paid as ransom by the Nigerian Medical Association.
Rankled by the most recent kidnapping, inhabitants of Olubo, Obada-Idi Emi, Imeko-Afon, and Ilara blockaded the street, protesting the now frequent kidnapping in that axis.
It was accumulated that five different travelers going in a similar Toyota Avensis (Verso) SUV with enlistment number FFF 654 TK were anyway saved by the ruffians.
Recounting their ordeal to journalists, Mrs. Akewugberu and Mrs. Rofiat Oladeinde, said the commercial vehicle was unexpectedly halted by four gunmen, who shot irregularly into the air.
They clarified that the shooters outfitted with AK-47 rifles and cleavers, snatched the driver and three ladies who were chosen arbitrarily among the travelers.

They added that the abductors purportedly saved a Fulani and two Hausa travelers among them.
They clarified further that the gangsters collected their cash and mobile phones.
In the mean time, the Assistant Commissioner of Police accountable for Operations, Ogun State Police Command, Bolanle Muritala, who showed up where the victims were kidnapped in a police helicopter stamped 5N-GEJ, engaged inhabitants to eliminate the blockade out and about, swearing police were at that point on the path of the abductors.
“We are pursuing the abductors, that is the reason we are here. We will get them”, he guaranteed.
A relative of one of the people in question, Eunice Oladele, said she actually dropped her sister at the motor park on her way to Ilara on Tuesday morning, adding she was stunned to learn she had been abducted on her way back to Abeokuta.
Speaking, Oladele said the ruffians were yet to build up any contact with the relatives.

Additionally talking with our reporter, the spouse to one of the people in question, Mutiu Oderinde, said his partner, Jelilat, made a trip to Ilara market for exchanging to help her mom, who as per him couldn’t go because of sickness. Mutiu, who was crying abundantly, spoke to the state government and security offices to get the arrival of his wife and other abductees safe home.
The director, Park Management, Ayetoro Motor Park, Abeokuta, Babatunde Adelakun, said the thebducted driver was his representative.
Adelakun said there are 48 police designated spots, including 10 Highway Patrol groups, from Abeokuta to Ilara, lambasting the police for not doing their job to secure travelers on that road.
