12 supplementary regional offices has been created by the Ogun State Ministry of Industry, to allow its services closer to investors with hope to improving the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) in the state.
Mrs. Kikelomo longe, Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment made this known when commissioning of Abeokuta North zonal Office in Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta and show of equipment to Officers in the zonal office.

Longe said that while the ministry is working on automating some of its processes, additional zonal offices have been established and equipped to ensure investors who choose to visit the ministry can get quality service faster and more efficiently.
She stated: “We need to attract more investments into the state and as part of other efforts the present administration through the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, has created additional zonal offices to improve on our service delivery so that we can assist existing businesses to grow and also get investment referrals from investors who are satisfied with our services.”
In addition, the Governor’s Special Advisor for Industry, Trade and Investment Chief Remi Ogunmefun said, with the regional offices, the government can meet the needs of the mining sector and assist the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in various regions.
