Chidinma singer ‘Kedike’ Ekile turned to Gospel Songs

Just days after it was revealed she had switched from secular music to gospel music, Nigerian singer and award-winning singer Chidinma Ekile, also known as Ms. Kedike, say words of comfort. In an Instagram post, Ibu Kedike encouraged her followers to always turn to God when things go south.

“You may lack a shoulder to lean on, but you will never lack a basis for kneeling and praying,” he wrote.

His announcement came just a week after he announced that he had changed his name and left the secular world for the gospel industry. The singer has been reluctant for a long time and many fans are interested in his existence.

He opened his Instagram account to announce that he is now a pastor of the gospel and a servant of Jesus Christ. He also published a new song, Jehovah of the Acts of the Apostles.

Ms. Kedike, better known for the award-winning Afro-Pop song “Kedike”, announced this when he celebrated his 30th birthday.

“My name is Minister Chidinma Equile. I am a warrior of the gospel of Jesus. I am a warrior of the gospel of Jesus Christ,” she captioned the video which showed her singing gospel music.

It is believed to have now entered Eezee Concepts – the home of the gospel star Mercy Chinwo.

In 2010, Ms. Kedike rose to fame at the age of 19 after winning the West African Project Fame. She then released her debut single “Jankoliko” with veteran star Sound Sultan.

According to Pulse Nigeria, he later signed deals with iLLBliss and Clarence Peters, Capital Hill / Goretti Company, and became a West African sensation with the single “Kedike”.

He also released other singles such as “Emi Ni Baller”, which was named Best Video Headies in 2014.

At the 2012 KORA Awards, Chidinma won the best female actor in West Africa. She was also nominated for Best Actress at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards.

She was born blind

In 2019, Ibu Kedike revealed in an interview with the Guardian that she was born blind. She went on to say that she wants to be seen more as a person who does a lot for children and adolescents with visual impairments because she can understand their situation.

“I was born blind. For several months I could not see. When I sang it, I felt the need to help children who were in a situation like this or worse. Whenever I travel to these places, I try to reach out my hand. love for these kids, “he said.
