Lagos-based talent manager and event strategist, Oyebisi Michael Oyelami, popularly known as Mikky Mic, has been honoured by the United Nations Association of Nigeria Youth Wing, Lagos State chapter, for his contributions to creative and entertainment conversations among young Nigerians.
Mikky Mic received a Certificate of Appreciation from the organisation on August 20 following his participation as a panellist at its Creative and Entertainment panel.
The recognition, according to the certificate signed by the Coordinator, UNAN Youth, Oreofe Aderewa Fayomi, was presented to Mikky Mic for lending his voice to the creative and entertainment discussion and demonstrating to young people that culture and storytelling can serve as powerful pathways.

The latest recognition adds to the growing profile of Mikky Mic, who has been active in Nigeria’s entertainment industry for more than a decade through talent management, artist development and event strategy.
He founded Mikky Mic Entertainment in 2013 and has worked with a number of artistes and entertainment personalities, including Terry Apala, Candy Bleakz, T Classic, M Kido, Tekunbi, Rexxie, Ozedikus, DJ Tunez and Hotkid.
Beyond his independent work, Mikky Mic currently serves as Head of Talent Management at DAW Empire, while also working as a talent scout and A&R at Echo Room and as an A&R at Media Tank, where he is involved in identifying and developing emerging Nigerian entertainment talents.
His latest honour therefore places further attention on his work beyond artist management, particularly his involvement in conversations around culture, storytelling, creativity and the opportunities available to young people within Nigeria’s entertainment ecosystem.
The UNAN Youth Wing recognition comes as another milestone in Mikky Mic’s career, reflecting his growing involvement in platforms that connect the entertainment industry with the next generation of Nigerian creatives.
